Frontend Web Development Intern

ClimeCast is looking for a passionate Frontend Web Development Intern to join our team. You will be working on building and enhancing the web-based platform, working closely with the founders to design and implement meaningful user interfaces. This internship will provide you with an opportunity to apply your technical skills, learn how a product is built from the ground up, and make a tangible impact on the product.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement user interfaces in Next.js (React) and TypeScript that effectively display and handle structured data based on application requirements and data formats
Develop reusable and efficient components for the web app, following best practices in React and JavaScript
Assist in maintaining and improving code quality, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Contribute to the user onboarding flow, dashboards, and data visualizations
Troubleshoot issues and refine UI/UX based on feedback

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or a degree in Computer Science or a related field
Ability to work 10-20 hours per week for the internship duration
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Experience with Git and version control practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with a startup or building a web-app based project
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and responsive design
Working knowledge of React and TypeScript (Next.js experience is a plus)
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
