Full Stack Engineer (Technical Co-founder) role in a fintech startup

About Us

We are an Indian fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize the financial trading landscape with a platform that empowers retail investors to make smarter decisions. We are building a product focused on real-time market data, advanced options trading, and seamless user experience. We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join as a Technical Co-founder and bring our vision to life.

The Role

As a Technical Co-founder, you will own the end-to-end development of the platform. You will be responsible for both the frontend and backend architecture, including data management and integration with third-party financial APIs. You’ll work alongside the founding team, contributing to both the technical direction and the strategic vision of the company.

Required Expertise

1. Frontend:
   • React.js / Angular 2+
   • D3.js / Chart.js (for data visualization)
2. Backend:
   • Node.js / Express.js / Django / Flask
   • REST API development for frontend integration
   • Integration with market data APIs
3. Database:
   • PostgreSQL / MySQL
   • MongoDB / Firebase
   • Redis (for caching market data)

Desired Expertise (Not mandatory)

• Parallel processing, GPU/TPU-based acceleration, distributed systems for large-scale market data processing.
• Experience optimizing systems for low-latency and high-throughput environments.
• Prior experience in fintech, trading platforms, or financial modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust full stack architecture.
• Develop interactive user interfaces using React.js or Angular 2+.
• Build powerful data visualizations using D3.js or Chart.js.
• Create and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, Django, or Flask.
• Integrate third-party financial APIs.
• Manage databases for user data (using PostgreSQL, or MySQL) and market data (using MongoDB, or Firebase).
• Collaborate with the founding team to shape product strategy and technology decisions.
